Paul Ferreira holds a BMus (Hons) degree from the University of the Free State and is an accomplished répétiteur, vocal coach, and rehearsal pianist. He has contributed his talents to productions by PACOFS, UFS, Opera Africa, Gauteng Opera, and Cape Town Opera, including The Medium (Menotti), Don Giovanni (Mozart), Ein deutsches Requiem (Brahms), Madama Butterfly (Puccini), Le Nozze di Figaro (Mozart), and Rigoletto (Verdi).
Paul has served as a musical director for acclaimed productions such as Grease, Cinderella, and Guys and Dolls. He earned a Performer’s Licentiate in Vocal Accompaniment (cum laude) from UNISA and frequently participates in masterclasses with internationally renowned artists, including Dalton Baldwin, Helmut Deutsch, Michelle Breedt, and Richard Shaw.
In addition to his expertise as a répétiteur, Paul received vocal training from soprano Hanna van Niekerk and completed his Grade 8 Vocal Performance Examination with distinction through the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.
